2010-2011
Officer and Board Nominations
At the September
22nd General Membership meeting, nominations for the
election slate will be selected. We invite all
members to become involved in the managing of our
club and consider serving as an
elected officer.
A publication entitled “Roles
and Responsibilities” has recently been compiled to
assist you in understanding the duties and
obligations associated with any elected office.
Please request a copy from any Board Member.
Don’t be bashful and think you
can’t do this because ‘yes you can!’ You will
surprise yourself. Holding an office can be fun and
also very gratifying. Believe those who have served
in the past, have not a days regret for their time
as Officers and/or Board Members for Monroe Boat
Club.
If you are contacted to
contemplate running for an office, think of it as a
true compliment and consider the possibility!
Contact any member of
Nominating Committee below about adding YOUR name to
the ballot. Thank you for your time!
