Monroe Boat Club created an IRS-recognized 501(c)3 organization in 2016 to organize and operate educational and community partnership events beyond the scope of a private boat club.
The "MBC Association" provides educational opportunities for fostering a sustainable boating and clean water harbor community, enhancing and protecting natural surroundings, and providing programs and projects that build environmental stewardship in youth and adults.
We offer seminars, presentations, workshops and educational instruction days on environmental and boating topics that encourage safe boating, a clean water harbor, and a sustainable environment engaging the local community, school system and regional experts.
All funding is through grants, fundraising and donations. 100% of proceeds go towards program operations. No donated funds are used for management or fundraising expense.
Donations to the MBC Association (MBC-A) are fully tax deductible to the maximum allowed by law.
