Joining Monroe Boat Club

The Monroe Boat Club was chartered in 1945 through a merger of Monroe Yacht Club (founded in 1868) and Bolles Harbor Boat Club. Individuals from each club came together as a group interested in boating, volunteering, and fellowship. Volunteerism serves as the foundation on which MBC continues to survive. Membership in MBC provides dockage opportunities (subject to availability), club cruises to other clubs and places such as Put-In-Bay and Kelley’s Island, educational opportunities on boating, marine life, and quality-of-life topics. It is a place to enjoy fellowship with those of similar interests. MBC offers deep-water access to Lake Erie and other affiliated yacht clubs and ports in Michigan, Ohio and Canada. We hope you will choose to be a member of our club. I’m sure you will meet new friends and will enjoy our modern clubhouse, grounds, club cruises, and other events. There will be many opportunities to meet new friends and to volunteer your time and talents to maintain Monroe Boat Club’s reputation as one of the friendliest clubs on Lake Erie.

If you have any questions about joining Monroe Boat Club, please contact Nick Pinotti, 2023 Membership Chair, 419-283-8800
